Can the ShipIt CD's be used to seed the torrent?

My Hardy 64bit desktop CDs just arrived and I was wondering if I could make an ISO from these CDs would I be able to seed the associated torrent using them, without actually downloading the original ISO from the torrent?

This should work, if your bittorrent client can use pre-existing files. However I'm seeding in this torrent currently and there are 30 times more seeders than peers... :KS
