Hi,
I've lost a bookmark to a thread about how to use grub to install ubuntu from a cd image on a local harddisk partition. I know it's here somewhere but I just can find it in the torrent of threads about install from usb, install grub etc.
To repeat: I want to download the alternate install cd image, put it on a local hd partition (not the install target partition) edit menu.lst to include a boot option pointing to that partition/image and reboot into the alternate install routine. I knwo there a guide somewhere on the forums - I just can't find it....
