i am trying to preform a netboot installation on my laptop as i have no floppy/cdrom/usb. I only have a working ethernet port.
I followed the procedure from this WindowsServerNetboot post https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/WindowsServerNetboot
and it worked like a dream, the problem comes in when i have to choose my local UK mirror to kick the installation off and choose archive.ubuntu.com and hit continue, the screen turns red immediatley and i get the message bad archive mirror.
I have tried this on three laptops and get the same message and i have the correct ip address as i can ping and do get a response from archive.ubuntu.com.
any idea's of what could be going on?
Thanks

Hll Guys
I could not get this to work so i bought myself hardrive converterlink that lets you connect a laptop hard drives connect to PC IDE. I then installed via the cd onto the hard drives as would with a internal drive.
All workinsg and the family is happily surfing with Ubuntu.
Thanks
