I can't stand it anymore!

I've got to go mow the yard!

I'll be back later, Ubuntu, and I'll bring more pictures of the yard so you don't get too jealous.

Bye, Ubuntu!

Pics as requested.

Front lawn.

Rear lawn with shed.

Trusty lawn mower.

It's not the mowing that I hate so much, as the weed eating and trimming.

I have brought that up. I think it would be great! But my adult daughter that lives here thinks that it may smell up the place a little.

What does one do with all that poop?

Funny I actually almost misread that and mistook it for Compiz. Thank you for clarifying that. :p

Goats=Bad idea. They are browsers rather than grazers. They will eat all your shrubs and trees before they start on the grass. Nobody who has had a goat standing on top of their truck cab to reach fresh leaves would ever want another one. Sheep may be a better choice.

Hell why not go for a Cow and get some "organic" milk while your at it, Sheep are just plain annoying.

Mmm-mmm, those look delicious!

Goats trim the shrubs as well as cutting the grass? Bonus!

They make good curry too, here's a recipe from a popular UK chef,

I call it the tree that can't stand up straight.

I had it on a stick for a while and this week I am going to rig up some support wires to help the poor little tree stand up again.

Thank you about the mower. My brother gave that to me when he bought a new Lawn Boy and my father still uses a Lawn Boy lawn mower that was bought before I was born (1964 - 44 years ago) and it still has the same original engine.

The weed eating is much better with a little olive oil, garlic and an aged balsamic vinegar.

Superb, once the goats have cleared all the plants and grass, get some concrete laid, maybe some astro turf, butcher the goats and have a feast.

(I absolutely hate gardening, my idea of heaven would be a concreted over garden)

If you don't want your neighbors to bother you get a full sized scythe a black robe with a hood, oh and tell them that you use Linux software they will run for their crosses probably muttering Nosferatu.
