Max resolution is 800x600 with an NVIDIA card

Just installed the new Ubuntu GNU/Linux Distribution on my computer, but the highest resolution I can get is only 800x600. I tried to install the drivers via synaptic, envy and manually, but I can get only 800x600.

Does anyone have a clue?
