gnome panel both gone after removed Evolution

gnome panel both gone - hardy 8.04 after I have removed Evolution, I have searched forum and found some commands but when I loged in to me Ubuntuu I can not type command users provided because I dont know how to open temiral command window. both panel gone so how can I open the temiral command window to type command ???

When you get to the login screen press Ctrl+Alt+F2 and this will take you to a terminal where you can login and type those commands.
