we hear alot about problems but i'd like to know who hasn't had to do anything at all in ways of configuration like myself apart from external issues like google earth, or knowing how to mount, which is my own knowledge based journey, i have restricted drivers with nividia, still no problems, no problems whatsoever, flawless.
i was even impressed initially (before) when i downgraded from vista to xp and xp had all these issues with my motherboard, finding drivers was the major as it seemed m/s was trying to lock me into vista via compaq. Ubuntu knew my motherboard and installed flawlessly, apart from nividia's own narrow mindedness and its own drivers which in my eyes isn't ubuntu problem

No problems, really . Only upgaded to 8.0.4 by not looking correctly and now I cannot hibernate. Not a big deal, though.

I'm happy. :)
