Recently I log in and my whole gui freezes. You can see the panels and desktops, but you can't access ANYTHING. The only thing moveable is the pointer. This doesn't happen on my sisters account. I tried logging in with regular gnome and failproof gnome, same problems.

It happens when I log in, EVERYTHING becomes unclickable.

You mean your sisters account on the same computer? If so try looking at your .gnome2 directory. Someone had a similar problem and rebuilt that directory. I don't want to lead you astray, but you might be able to have the system rebuild it for you.

Well the whole desktop basically doesn't respond. I'm guessing the only way to get in there to make it work again is to login with a text only terminal.
