I created a wiki site about software that you could use on Ubuntu with a place for tutorials and reviews. Every one can add a note about application, edit the description, add a tutorial/howto or post a link to one (External Tutorials pages) or write a review.

Do you think that site could be useful? Do you think it has a future? :) Maybe I'm just duplicating something thats already there but I couldn't find it?

Link: ubuntu.wieza.org (http://ubuntu.wieza.org/)

Right now there isn't a lot. I don't have much time, I do it only in free time.
Examples: tutorial (http://ubuntu.wieza.org/tutorial:magical-blur-in-gimp), with video (http://ubuntu.wieza.org/howto:install-windows-application), review (http://ubuntu.wieza.org/review:pdfedit), external tutorials page (http://ubuntu.wieza.org/tutorial:external-tutorials-for-gimp).

English is not my native language, so there may be a lot of mistakes at the page. I'm learning and in the future I hope to be more correct. ;)

Every help and opinion is appreciated.

Site looks very promising. One site you could include for External Inkscape tutorials is http://screencasters.heathenx.org/

Done.
If I set permissions right, editing of the pages should be posible even for unregistered users. (as long as there is no spam, I won't need to change that)

Me again. I know your Polish but I just clicked on your Inkscape videos and they link to a Polish site. Maybe you should put this link in Polish rather than English (sorry, my Polish is non-existant).

Thanks for the info. One link on the list was Polish - that was my mistake, I corrected it now, no more non-english confusing sites there I hope ;).

Why not just direct people to help.ubuntu.com and wiki.ubuntu.com?

Why not just direct people to help.ubuntu.com and wiki.ubuntu.com?

I don't see any of that kind of staff (list of software with attached tutorials etc.) on those pages. I don't want to make something that duplicates other page, but I didn't find a typical wiki site about various applications on Ubuntu.
