I just had a shocking epiphany: Some people have not seen Office Space. This includes two people that are on the FC that I know.

So, tell the truth, no matter how it may crush my soul.

Yep, saw it a few years ago. I remember the basic plot and a bunch of events about it. Pretty good movie.

I loved that movie, reminds me so much of this company I was working at during that time the movie was made with the year 2000 stuff going on.

Great, great film.

Peter Gibbons: The most they would do is put us for a few months into a white-collar, minimum-security resort! You know, they have conjugal visits there?

peter Gibbons: What Would You Do If You Had A Million Dollars?
Lawrence: I'll Tell You What I'd Do, Man: Two Chicks At The Same Time, Man.
Peter Gibbons: That's It? If You Had A Million Dollars, You'd Do Two Chicks At The Same Time?
Lawrence: Damn Straight. I Always Wanted To Do That, Man. And I Think If I Were A Millionaire I Could Hook That Up, Too; 'cause Chicks Dig Dudes With Money.
Peter Gibbons: Well, Not All Chicks.
Lawrence: Well, The Type Of Chicks That'd Double Up On A Dude Like Me Do.
Peter Gibbons: Good Point.

Lawrence: Well, What About You Now? What Would You Do?
Peter Gibbons: Besides Two Chicks At The Same Time?

Ha!

It's quite the epic movie. (But not "Epic Movie," which was horrible.)

We, as a collective community, somehow need to get these two who haven't watched it to watch it. No names....
EDIT: THREE!

...yet. :KS

The reference to Bill Lumbergh in Family Guy was so much funnier after I watched Office Space.

"Yeah ... I'm gonna need you to go ahead and not complain about this. And if you could go ahead and sit at the kids' table, that'd be great."

HA HA! I feel the exact same way, but it must be hard for you, I mean,
having the same name as him. I celebrate the guy's entire catalogue.
But anyway, let's get down to business, Michael!

Have never heard of it before now, doubt if it had a UK release.

Might seek it out due to the involvement of Mike Judge, then again, it's got Jennifer Aniston in it... :(

Seen it. Own it. Love it. Classic. Watch it at least once a year. Everyone that works in an office should watch it. By law.

I specifically said no, no salt on the margarita glass, and and this glass has huge chunks of salt on it. I'll take my money to a competing resort...

Just finished watching the movie, God knows how true it is.
When I leave my job I'm going to haul a truckload of equipment that makes my life miserable and have fun with the wood chipper :).

wood chipper is no fun... axe, hatchet, sledgehammer, baseball bat... if you must go with a power tool CHAINSAW

Your memory slipped it is "traveler's checks" not "money".

I particularly like the guacamole reference he says (we say it all the time, me and someone else and get weird looks)
