I just wanted to say that im very very disappointed of ubuntu cause of the desktop-environment seams to be very very unstable.
In ubuntu 6.10 everything was stable, my computer ran through days without restarting, sind ubuntu 7.04 crashes of X.org got more often.
In 7.04 iw were somewhat one crash per month
and in 7.10 (which im using cause i have fear of 8.04) i have daily up to five X.org crashes and i always have to reboot (reset) my system cause X blocks my video-out and i cannot switch to a system console.
Probably its an graphics-driver issue, but im using the "radeon" driver, which worked very well in 6.10 and 7.04.
If someone knows the same, plz help me out. Otherwise ill try out some other distributions ....
