Hi.

I tried to compile the last kernel from kernel.org (http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-2.6.25.4.tar.gz). I edited the .config file for it adding CONFIG_ACPI_IBM=y.

After rebooting I had no wireless and no sound.

What I'm trying to do is to set my system so I can install a fan control script (http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/ACPI_fan_control_script#Comprehensive_bash_script_ with_fine_control_over_fan_speed) because my lenovo overheats.

Please help.
