Is there a good application for keeping code snippets? I use Eclipse and PyDev.

I do not want to use Tomboy for that as it is already very busy and using Gedit with ordinary files seems to be awkward.

I've got one word: Zotero
I had to switch to Opera to get my banking to work, because of Firefox's Java bug, but I actually switched back to FireFox again because I could not do without this fantastic plugin. You can compile all your notes, all your research, everything in a portable folder using Zotero and its easy. By 1 click you can save a snapshot of a website locally for offline browsing and much much more. Go get it: Zotero (http://www.zotero.org/)
