i upgrade my system to v8.04 but

i did upgrade for my system from 6.06 to 8.04 but some program are not working .i386 its was running on kernel 2.6.15-23-386
how can i let this program work again thanks in advance

You can always reboot your machine, then choose Esc to enter the grub menu (when prompted).
There you can use an older kernel.
