i was wondering if adding the debian lenny repository is disastorous. i did it a long time ago but that was because i wanted to see how much i could do before the computer craps out on me so i could start fresh.
so basicly after adding it it wants to update everything but i disabled the repository for now until i hear from someone.
thanks in advance

Not recommended unless you want to bork the hell out of your system, trust me I did it once just to see what would happen.

thanks for the reply. i'll delete the repository from the source list and those tempting updates.

No problem and for future reference some of the packages in Debian testing are the same versions that are in Ubuntu.
