Top Bar Not Showing?

Its weird the top bar of EVERY WINDOW you know (X, Maximize, and the -) symbols arn't showing up on the top. HELP!

IM USING UBUNTU HARDY HERON 8.04

If you have compiz on, open the Advanced Desktop Effects tool (it's in Preferences most likely, if not synaptic search for compiz and look for compizconfig-settings-manager) Scroll down the tool till you see Window Borders. Uncheck and check it a couple of times, it's a bug. The other way around it is to log out and back in.

I get it randomly, too. It's a glitch in compiz, not Ubuntu.

Not a problem at all. I have no idea what is causing this little glitch, but it is annoying. Just goes to show ya that nothing is ever perfect.
