Ive noticed there are no open source games that are very good, (like Half-life 2, or Resistance: Fall Of Man)
The Idea...
We should create an open source game, but unlike most open source games, which are quake mods, and boring first person shooters, we should create an entire company cranking out full, open source, games every 6 months to a year, full length games, that have story lines, and are fun to play. A new one every six months.
The Plan...
To use strictly* open source software and people from all over the world collaborating on the project, with a dead line. We will have a new game every six months to a year (in sync with the Ubuntu release cycles).
How?...
Game design and production will be done with the use of the following products:
Blender Game Engine | http://www.blender.org/
Collanos | http://www.collanos.com/
Gimp, Krita | (like you need a link)
Are You In...
Well?...
If you are interested, Please email me @

* We will try to use strictly open source software, however if a proprietary product works for our purpose (like Collanos) we will use it, unless a better product is recommended.
