hi,

I have this problem http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=557219&highlight=workspace+switch+problem, http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=557219&highlight=workspace+switch+problem, http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=416957&highlight=workspace+switch+problem
with the difference in that I use gutsy gibbon amd-64. One of these threads sugested restarting the x-system by alt-ctl-bkspc, but that doesn't work for me, and I don't know why?

so any suggestions, any ideas??

Now whenever I'm in the main desktop/workspace cube, and switch to another workspace cube it seems like I went through a one way journey, I can't go back or forth.

I've noticed something from the posts I read, the term workspace is used for both the meanings "one of the four sides of the cube of the current desktop", and whatever "desktop cube of the ones showing in the workspace switcher item in the bottom panel", I don't know if it makes any difference but please be specific.

thanx
