I downloaded Banshee Media Player, and it comes with a list of radio stations, but i can't listen to any of them except NPR.I only listen to indie/underground/conscious/whateveryouwannacallit hip-hop. Are there websites that list streaming links for radio stations? Or at least a way to find them at individual websites?

I use Rhythmbox and gstreamer + plugins and simply go to SHOUTcast | Free internet radio! (http://www.shoutcast.com/) Which has a tremendous listing of internet radio stations.

Select "tune in" on any particular station and it loads / saves the station automatically into Rhythmbox.

I don't use Banshee Media Player so can't help with setup.... Sorry...

Hope this helps...

Take a look at Streamtuner, I use it with VLC as back-end.

If the station you want isn't in the list its easy to add/bookmark.

Its in the 'universe' repository.
