Hi,
I installed Hardy to a new build without any problems, but when I turned it on today I appeared to have gained a "dead zone" at the top of the screen.
I've attached an image which will hopefully explain this better.
Some info:
* It's exactly the height of two panels + shadow.
* If I draw a "selection" box on the screen with the mouse (as if selecting multiple icons) it wont continue into this area
* I can put a panel in the area
* If I disable compiz effects I don't get any graphical issues like in the screenshot when moving a window over it, but the "area" still exists
* I've removed all NVidia drivers and restarted in low-graphics mode, the area is still there.
* The top of my wallpaper starts where this area finishes.
Does anybody have any ideas? Be warned, I'm a bit of a noob :)
(Thanks for taking a look).
