I've just upgraded from 7.04 (Feisty) to 7.10 (Gutsy), as I'd restored my Dell Inspiron 530n back to its factory defaults (Ubuntu 7.04). But having upgraded from 7.04 to 7.10, I've found that the fonts are often tiny. In particular, Firefox has tiny fonts, as does Thunderbird.
I do remember seeing threads some months ago about this problem, but I can't find them now. Does anyone remember what the cause of this problem is, and how to solve it?

Editing to add: It's in Xfce (Xubuntu) that the problem exists. I've just tried using Gnome instead, and there doesn't seem to be this problem with tiny fonts. Thought I should add that detail.
