Okay i went from Ubuntu to Kubuntu to test out KDE. only problem is that even with the Kubuntu restricted extras installed.... I can't play flash or Java based games (and probably not look at youtube either.)

Can anyone help me? I'm using Kubuntu KDE 4.04 remix.

Edit: Using the standard Konqueror that comes with Kubuntu.

Are those flash games Win32 executables?

No just basic online ones. like at Armorgames.com Worked fine in Ubuntu using Gnome.

But i went from 64 bit to 32 bit because of a Java bug in the 64 bit version and thought i'd try Kubuntu.

They work fine for me. Download all gstreamer plugins and the gnash swf player. Otherwise, try using firefox, should work in that.

Konqueror is a very light and efficient browser while FF has a huge memory hogging problem. I hope someone finds the solution for you rather than doing this migration to FF.

not to mention it doesn't look to good with KDE using a Gnome theme.

I don't find Firefox to be a memory hog at all. And Also, please don't bump your thread so often :)
