is there a version of beryl that works in ubuntu 8.04? and how do i install it?
(i'm from a Win xp atmosphere, so it helps if your answer is difinitive and easy to follow)

Beryl is no more. It's fusion with the Compiz team. Compiz are default on Ubuntu 8.04 if your Video card supports it.

wat about in Ubuntu 7.10 is it support the Beryl?

7.04 but you have to install it manually but you have to compile it if you can find the source codes. I doubt any sources have it more for easy install. Why do you want Beryl? It's not maintained anymore and the bugs wont be fixed.
