Urgent :Few Questions About Ubuntu 8.04
I have an Acer Aspire 5610. I want to install Ubuntu 8.04 and replace my vista .
But i am seeing a alarming post about hard disk life shortage.
1. I Want to know is Ubuntu 8.04 fixed this problem?
2. If i install Ubuntu in my pen drive will it reduce the life span of my pen drive too or slow the OS? Is it advisable to do it?
I have used Ubuntu 7.10 but had a problem getting connected to my windows network so i got rid of it :mad: . 8.04 have fixed the problem so Yaaaa :).
So please help me move to Ubuntu!!!
