Just a quick note that after loading Ubuntu ver. 8.04 LTS on an old Pentium 2 box, things are working and so far I am impressed. Only hitch in the gitty-up was belatedly remembering that the CD-ROM was flaky and having to replace it. Now to upgrade memory & install a second HD (256kb & 12GB-that is how old the system is!)
Quick question. Where is a guide so that I can figure out which processes are necessary and which are unneeded? Bluetooth was a no-brainer but the rest of them...
