I'm trying to set my screen resolution to 1024X768 so it fits entirely on my monitor's screen. When I set the resolution to 1024X768 (System-->Preferences-->Screen resolution) my desktop pans larger than my monitor. This is very Inconvenient and not what I want. I can set the screen resolution to 800X600, but that's to small. My video card is an older ATI Rage 128. Has anyone seen and resolved this problem? Thanks in advance.
