Help... Add/Remove Programs Error

Hi there.. im having troulbes installing both updates and programs from the add remove section this is the error im getting:

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run "dpkg --configure -a" to correct the problem.

E:_cache->open()failed, please report.


Anyway Ideas... any help or advice is more than appreciated.

Try doing as it tells you. Open the terminal and enter:


sudo dpkg --configure -a
