I just did a fresh install of file"ubuntu-8.04-alternate-i386"
Well, I installed everything perfectly fine... the machine is a fresh just for Linux.
I get to the Username prompt and it wont accept my password.
I tried the recovery console method suggested in the ubuntu help section and searched on here but the methods I found didnt work either... http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-3609.html
and it said my username was not found. WTF?
Any help is much appreciated!
