Hi !

i can't install ubuntu (8.04) when my two 250gb sata drives are plugged!

i've perform an installation without these drives plugged and everything was fine ! i installes ubuntu on a 80gb sata drive, and there's another 160gb sata drive which contains XP and another one which is 160gb but IDE .... everything is OK when these 3 drives are plugged

But when i plug my two 250gb sata drives (or even if i plug just one) ubuntu is unable to start, doing a unknown error at start. i can't start ubuntu (previously installed), a new ubuntu installation, or even GPARTED

gparted is doing errors reffering to SATA CH4 and CH7 (probably where the two drives are plugged...) and is looping when starting! he's always trying the same thing (error ... retry in 5sec...) and that could last all day long!

i did a disk check in windows xp on my two 250gb drives and it says that everything is ok. i don't know what to do next

Do anyone can help? ;)
Thanks a lot !
