I downloaded the KDE4 live CD recently(beta 3), and decided I want to stick with 3.5.9 for now. Since I don't want to go through all of the updating and upgrading 10.3 to 11, does anyone know where I can download a live CD image of the current version(11 3.5.9)? The downloads page only lists KDE4 and Gnome. I had read somewhere that the DVD was supposed to have the 3.5.9 install option. I may have to wait for it to go final?

I haven't read about any plans to offer a KDE 3 live-cd so you'll probably have to go with the DVD which will offer KDE 3 as the default desktop environment.

you could download the net-install CD and do it that way if you don't want to download the whole DVD.

I've never tried the Opensuse net-install. Is it similar to Debian's? With Debian I can install the base system, and then apt-get the rest of the KDE base and X.
