I want to upgrade my Motherboard and I know some have a problem with Linux. I almost bought a AOpen 760 then found out that SiS Northbridge doesn't work with Linux. Phew.

What I want is an the AMD 754 configuration. Probably pay upto $100 for the board. 3 PCI slots would be nice (over 2). FSB at least 800. But I can't figure out which manufacturers are good with Linux.

Could I get some direction and input, please?

Thanks.

Asus usually plays nice with linux, use either a Via or Nvidia Nforce chipset.
