Tool Bar Not Accessible

After install of xbuntu 8.04, various items placed on upper and lower tool bars. Both bars set to auto-hide. Worked.

Reboot after sudo aptitude upgrade and toolbars are not there. Only middle and right mouse keys work to open menu and/or windows.

Request help on this latest issue with 8.04

Interesting .. I went ahead and built a second xbuntu system on the same machine and did a dual boot. I made sure both installations were identical; the original install still has the same problem but the second install works.

I am going ahead and do the usual Windows thing and delete everything and start over again.

I'll keep you posted as to this aggravating little bug.
