Hi all,
i tryed now 4 times to install Kubuntu to my desktop. I have also downloaded new iso-images and checked Md5sum's.... burned them first to a cd, then to a dvd.
Once i did actually get in Kubuntu KDE4 desktop, but could not make install work. After that install has stopped much earlier.
With Ubuntu install wont even start from cd/dvd
I have no clue what is wrong, but only error's i have seen are with SquashFS. There are also errors with I/O buffer.
Machine is Intel Core2 Quad Cpu Q6600 / 4G RAM and it works fine with Vista Home premium. I tryed 1386 and 64bit- versions of both as Core2 is 64bit.
Is this 4GB RAM issue ?
Any ideas ?
Kari
