I have been trying out Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy?) and its not too bad. I only had a difficult time in getting video from YouTube to play. Anyway, upgraded to 8.04 (Heron?) to see how that works and lost my wireless network connection. The manager appears to see the network but does not connect to it in any way that I can figure out. Reformatted and reloaded 7.10 and the wireless connection works great. What is missing in Heron? Is there something I can do to get Heron to enable my wireless connection if I try and upgrade again?
