I want to play fifa 08 in ubuntu but i dont know whether to use Cedega or wine?

Personally, I prefer using Cedega. But you could try both since they both support ActiveX. Use whatever you feel comfortable with.

Cedega uses wine, but has better long running support of certain titles.

I would try it in wine, since it's free, if you can't get it to work, and see that it is supported under cedega, go that rout, because you are likely to get more one on one help there.

Fifa 08 *should* work without a hitch, though.

Wine = Free

Cedega = $$$

Check the Wine App Database and see if Fifa will run.

And be very carefull when looking at the Cedega games database, just because a game is listed,doesn't mean that it works. You have to read the fine print.
