View Full Version : [ubuntu] Video Movie Maker?

I am using XVidCap to capture my desktop to make videos. Which will turn into mpeg files. I need a movie making software to edit these files. But kino doesn't support it. Any Suggestions?

IM USING UBUNTU 8.04 HARDY

You could try using openmovieeditor.

Or avidemux2_gtk -- look for avidemux in the apt repositories. There is a qt version, but be aware the title of the filters are corrupted in that version (they work, but you have to guess which one you want). The GTK version doesn't have that problem so even if you use KDE, try the GTK version.

Open Movie Editor is a nice app, but doesn't have that many features.
