Fitting download on cd

I am having problems burning my downloaded iso file for 8.04 desktop i386 to (non-RW) CD. Says there is 702 MB available but then I get an error message that says it won't fit. Would v much appreciate your assistance (running Vista and burning using windows)from autoplay dialog box).

Are you saying that Ubuntu is over 700MB?If that is the truth you didn´t download it from proper site.Download it from here. (http://releases.ubuntu.com/8.04/) if download is correct but when you try to burn it it say it is over 700MB then burn it like it is described here. (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto) Sorry if I didn´t understand you right.
