i am slowly but surley going completely ubuntu, i have 527 gigs dedicated to ubuntu and i have about 15 left for vista..is there any way i can steal some from vista?

first fo all, why do you need to steal some space from vista?

secondly, iirc, 15 gig is the MINIMUM recommended space for vista...

Dude, you've got 527 Gigs for ubuntu. How could you need more from the 15 gig partition?

Google gparted and download thier live cd.
It's a graphical partitioner for all the dif file systems. that should do the trick.

Seconded. If you want to still be able to use Vista occasionally, give it some room to breathe. If you squeeze it too hard you'll get terrible fragmentation, or it might not run at all.
