Question Threads in the HowTo Section

I've tried to get the embedded movie trailers at http://trailers.apple.com to work with xine, gstreamer, and mplayer, and have only been completely successful with mplayer using these steps:

I would really like to get it working with xine (and hopefully gstreamer in the future). Has anyone had luck getting trailers on this site (or any others) to work with totem-xine *without* any firefox extensions?

This is a question forum. You guys need to stop bashing people for asking questions! It isn't a question forum. It was in the HowTo section (a place where you give HowTos, not ask for them). I moved it to a more appropriate section, and I've also moved all of our posts about the thread to this new thread (the one you're reading now) in Community Chat.

That part is not a question forum- its a guide forum. Better stickys do not solve the problems. Some people seem to post there because it will get attention and they will get their answers. This makes that whole forum a mess.

As leader of the Tweaker Team (team in charge of guide section) I can say that changes will come in the future to make it impossible to ask questions in single threads in that forum. Only guides and their questions will remain.
