Hey people, anyone got much experience with Sony headphones? Recently my MDR-Q22s broke and they were really excellent and cheap too! I'm looking to replace them with a similar style of headphones and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the MDR-Q66 or MDR-Q68? Are they any good? And is there actually any difference between the Q66 and the Q68, because they seem to be almost identical?

Heres the Q66: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-MDRQ66-Over-Type-White/dp/B0007TBJWW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1211452787&sr=1-1

and the Q68: http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3317671/Sony-MDR-Q68-Street-Style-Headphones/Product.html

I own both pairs of headphones and I am pleased with their performance. Sound quality is clear and the bass isn't bad considering the price of the headphones. The reason I got the MDR-Q68 is because the MDR-Q66 right headphone stopped working after about 2 reliable years of working just fine. You are completely correct, they are virtually identical. As far as I know and according to the sony website, all the specs for both are pretty much the same. The only differences are that the Q68 has a sensitivity of 108dB/mW and the Q66 has 104dB/mW (I have no idea what that means), and the Q68 is a tad lighter than the Q66. From what I understand, the Q68 is just an updated version of the Q68. Though the Q66 may be a bit cheaper because it is an older model, I recommend purchasing the Q68 because it is easier to find in stores.
