Hi,

I am wondering if I am the only on experiencing issues because of past 7 days updates. I can tell exactly which update broke my mythtv because there were just lots every single day.

Problem description:

On mythtv at starting TV playback, after I start it, after 3 seconds or so, the sound become intermittent and frames start dropping till the point that the image freeze and sound is interrupted by the seconds. The first few seconds after start everything it is working just fine.

Initially, I though that is an interrupt conflict or contention but then as I play the TV in mplayer the sound and image are just fine without any interruption.

I am running Hardy 8.0.4 with all latest updates.

Linux version 2.6.24-16-generic (buildd@palmer) (gcc version 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7)) #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 13:23:42 UTC 2008

I have a PVR-150 as TV card and ATI All-in-wonder with DRI enabled ATI restricted drivers.

The CPU is just 20% used when I run top, and I have 1 GB ram. Tried to restart but restart didn't help.

I would really appreciate your help to identify the cause of this issue.

Thank you,

C.
