Dude, I have almost the same laptop as you: Acer Aspire 3690

ive used googledocs which is nice but i still prefer the native clients

other than that just gmail

My (personal) online Java IDE that uses CodePress and a simple exec() statement in PHP. Always useful.

Listening to it right now--Seeqpod

I also use gmail and Google Docs quite a bit, but second place woudl be Google Reader. After that, Netvibes, if it counts... then gmail and Google Docs--those last two don't count, to me, as favorites--more like necessities. For pure fun and enjoyment, it's Seeqpod, Reader and Vibes

I'm not sure why, that's gotta be a pain. You can try stuff like Skreemr if you want, depending on where you live it may be illegal though. You might be able to get in using a proxy though.
