I have an old laptop hard drive enclosed and connected through usb. I wanted to install ubuntu on it without having to wipe out the whole hard drive. I can install ubuntu on the main hard drive with the available disk space that is left but I can't seem to do that with my external. I don't know enough yet to try and use the manual installation but if someone could help me out that'd be appreciated.
