how to put touchpad back on!

Hi, I turned of my touchpad. How to put it back on?
My guess is I turned it of via System>Preferences > mouse...
didn't I?
Anyway, how to put it back On! Please!

So the great ubuntu fails at a simple task? re-enabling the touchpad. I was able to put it off through GUI but it is impossible to put it back on? How freaky is that?

I reinstalled the driver. that was easy. and nonsense. weird bug.
