So we are starting a community acupuncture clinic to help bring alternative medical care to people who can't afford health insurance. I figured that FOSS would be a natural for the company but I am having trouble locating software for our endeavor.

I looked at gnumed but it is far to complex and way beyond what we would need. Not to mention that setting up a server is beyond my technical expertise (to be honest I've never tried). We only have one (donated) computer at our disposal right now anyway and all we really need it to do is scheduling, billing and record keeping. Any ideas?

Hi,

Been browsing for acupuncture clinic software myself and haven't found anything really good.

I have been running TaoClinic (Taoclinic.com) on a Windows computer up til now, but will see if I can get it running with WineHQ.

Taoclinic is very decently priced and supports multiple practitioners.

...I'll let you know how - if - that works out.

Rock on with your Comm. Acu. clinic!

Installed TaoClinic through Wine without any problems - it seems to be fine so far...

Hope this helps!
