[SOLVED] Minimised windows not appearing in Panel

This is happening on 2 laptops. One I just upgraded from 606 lts to 804, the other ive just built as a dualboot with XP. Would it be anything to do with compiz-fusion?
The minimised windows are disappearing from view altogether!! The only way I can work at the moment is to move any needed app to another desktop while doing something else...firefox in one, thunderbird in another, ooo in another, ..etc

Any ideas?

right click the panel and add the taskbar.

Thanks Kerry, but taskbar isn't listed, although I tried adding window switcher and that seems to have solved it. I think i had just too mucch stuff added to the panel so the minimised windows were there but not visible

It was the "window list" I was missing, it must have gotten disabled with all the messing around I was doing with compiz-fusion earlier, I'm sure it's probably yhte same problem on the other latop too. Thank for your help Kerry!
