I'm trying to install the plain Hardy using the alternate install disc in Virtualbox 1.6, but it locks up right after booting. My host is already running Hardy.
I'm doing this because in a few days when I get a new set of harddrives I'm going to reinstall and setup LVM right from the start and want to do a dry run of the procedure first, to get acquainted with the process.
Any ideas why it locks up? I ran it without the "quiet" option and the last message the kernel spits out is
APIC delta adjusted to PM-Timer: 0 (0)
