ever since i upgraded from Gutsy. some times when i shutdown the computer i get prompted to type the password. root. why does it ask for this and how can i make it stop?
the only thinks i use this computer for is web access, browser, sometimes abiword, gnumeric is there ways to speed up this computer even more. have it installed on an old pc that had win98. amd k6? 128 ram.
