Hi all,
I tried upgrading to ubuntu 8.04 over the weekend and have had no end of dramas. I ran the upgrade and reinstalled the v4l-dvb drivers for the dvico cards I have. Since then the system will not boot and keeps getting errors that say
dvb-usb: bulk message failed: -110
I tried a clean install using both the desktop and alternate CDs with the same result.
Has anyone had success with myth, ubuntu 8.04 AND the v4l-dvb drivers???
I am currently doing a clean install of 7.10 (back to where it was before). I would have expected a LTS release from ubuntu to be more friendly.
Thanks for any advice
