A few questions about a distro(s)

i just installed ubuntu on my laptop again last night, and i realized that i should've installed Linux Mint,

now i have some questions about a few things...

1. does it (linux mint) have the same repository as ubuntu?

2. im looking for a distro with kde4, which i see the community over there has released, but i mean with this stay stable and all?

3. What Distro do you recommend for someone looking to get the full experience of kde4?

3. for KDE i prefer Mandriva.
